directv question

Quick questiion for directv guys that get the "nba league pass",

As of 6/26, anyone able to watch channel 601(NBA tv channel)?


i upgraded to high def dvr 6/25, and no longer get a picture. it gives me the "721 channel not purchased" message. worked fine before with my standard def dvr

i call (late 6/26 pm)and the rep puts me on hold, comes back and says yeah they didnt turn that back on for you.

then says "it wont let me do it, hold on". comes back and says "that channel expired 4/18/07 and that i can watch nba reruns on espn". lol

i am calling today to get 2nd opinion from 1st shift reps

I don't get League Pass, but happens a lot when people upgrade to the HR20. When you call back, also make sure that they put it back on auto-renew if you had it as it will save you money. You most likely will need to talk to a supervisor, but if that doesn't work, tell them you want to talk to customer rentention. They can do almost anything and if they can't get you the channel, give you credits and free programming.

I believe once the NBA season is over you no longer get the NBA channel unless you have the Direct TV sports package.
