    Ratatouille

I saw it last night (I work at a theatre, my manager built it early and I was watching to make sure it ran through okay) and really enjoyed it. I haven't been too keen on the past few animated movies I've seen; I didn't enjoy Cars very much, Surf's Up was okay, etc. However, I thoroughly enjoyed Ratatouille. It has some good jokes in it, but more than anything I was entertained throughout. Even though it was about two hours long I did not feel like it was dragging on. I recommend it.

This will be the first animated flick I'm gonna see since The Incredibles. It looks like it should be pretty good and I'm glad to hear it didn't drag on.

It looks stupid but of course I thought the Incredibles wasn't going to be good and I love that movie.

I know it's a cartoon for kids, but a movie about a rat in a resturant doesn't sound too appealing.

I'm not into animated kids movies that much. Some of them I really like, but I will never go see them in a movie theater with all the little kids. Maybe a showing after their bedtime or something though, but I usually wait for DVD. I saw the trailer for this and it looked pretty funny.

I've only had this avatar for weeks!

I'm really excited for this movie, and it will be the second Pixar film I can take my son to ('Cars' was the first). The stuff Pixar does is just so above and beyond any other animated studio that it's almost insulting to call them "competitors". Sure Dreamworks has the 'Shrek' franchise, but outside of that, it's pure pop culture dog ****! The other quality animation house, IMO, Aardman, is overlooked since it's not shimmery CG (Sony did a good job of snagging them after Dreamworks dumped the studio).

I'm even more eager to see what John Lasseter, Pixar founder and now head of Disney Animation, does with the rest of the House of Mouse.

Oh, and Brad Bird is an animation GOD! If you guys haven't seen it, pick up 'The Iron Giant', an absolutely AMAZING film!

Can't wait. I've been disapointed with the last few children movies I've seen (Shrek 3, Surfs Up and there was a few others) but Pixar is always good (although I didn't care for Cars too much) I'm probably going to take my daughter Friday night after work.

I think Cars was the rushed product so Pixar could quicken the pace on their contract.

But, this new movie looks great.

"Cars" was also the first movie I took my son to (great experience). When you're sitting there with your son, and the scene where Lightning and Sally are over-looking Route 66 and James Taylor's "Our Town" starts playing, you can't help but lose it. For me anyway.

I'm taking my son to Ratatouille next week. I can't wait.

Also, I'm just wondering if any knows what I mean when I say, "Hi, I'm John Lasseter!"

The Pixar movie with the emotional tug for me is 'Finding Nemo' for obvious reasons.

Seriously, if I was in a movie of the week circumstance, I would do EVERYTHING...much like the fable of Marlin and Nemo!
