I wasn't saying it was exactly 8 grand, but just a number that's disgusting for me. I know some of those parties go for 35-50 grand and higher. Just because it's their birthday doesn't mean they have to get everything they want down to a T. I didn't ***** about getting a POS car to start with. I drove it all through HS while my friends were getting lexus, mustangs, hummers and wrecking them within months of getting their license. Thats how my parents feel and I'm glad they do. BTW I love it when people make Super Sweet Sixteen threads, no one ever complains about everyone bashing that show lol. Personally IMO, I would rather just chill with my family and eat some food fresh off the grill than have a gigantic party and get a BMW.Comment

I watch it sometimes because it amazes me how much ish these kids get away with. If I'd talked to my folks the way some of them do I'd have a mouth full of false teeth.
I did catch the episode on Monday with the "crown prince of Cleveland". How the hell do you buy, regardless of how much money you have, a 16 year old kid a brand new Beamer and Range Rover?
