At least the Autobot Blaster was a little better. He was a boom box and IIRC he was one of the bigger Generation One transformers

As for useless TFs I thought Scorponok was pretty useless. He was pretty damn big but in some ways easy to break. I got him one Christmas and he lasted less then a year of play time for me.
