    Under Armour

I have heard plenty on the TV and many athletes where it but is it worth the price? I'm sure they have some for cold weather and hot weather. Just wondering if any of you had experience with it. For me, it wouldn't be sports related. Basically work related.

If not for sports then Hell no it's not worth it.

For sports it's great because it gives you all the mobility of wearing nothing with the warmth of 1-2 sweatshirts.

Assuming you're some sort of outside worker, just throw on a jacket.

I wear Russell Athletic stuff just like Under Armour underneath my bullet proof vest at work. I buy the sleaveless ones and love them. Not only do they keep me cooler but it doesn't bunch up like a T-shirt would when it get's wet, and it keeps a nice tight neckline. Oh ya...plus they are only $10 or so.

It definitely works. I'd buy a couple short sleeved ones if I were you...

            Re: Under Armour

Under Armour does absorb sweat and can keep you cool by locking in moisture. So it does help in hot weather just like it does in cold weather. So I recomend it 100%.

I love my Under Armour. But there are other companies that make similar stuff for less. I'd look around at Nike and Addidas, Rebok and stuff like that too.

Under Armour is very good, but I prefer spending $20-$30 less and just getting a knock-off version.

basically if you order on July 4, you get 30% off if you put the coupon code: July4.....I had ordered $170 worth of stuff from fogdog....then i saw this...so i'm going to cancel my other order. basically ordered $220 worth of stuff and was discounted $65.92....Really good deal if you want under armour products that cost the same as everyone else.

                      Re: Under Armour

I've used Under Armour since '01 at first just the compression shorts for basketball, but do not anymore reason being even if you follow the washing instructions and hang drying, over time (about 20-30 washing machine washes) the material would bind up and become rough on the skin. Yeah, you could probably avoid it by only hand washing them, but for the money it's not worth it. The Nike ones are cheaper and do not break down as easy. All other UA products I've used have been great.
