What if that injured person asked you for help? To call 911 or get the employee's attention...Comment

Re: Shoppers step over a dying woman.
So, you're actually saying, you would ruin your "get in and get out" strategy to talk to an athlete, but not to save someone's life?Comment

Re: Shoppers step over a dying woman.
Did I say that? I diddnt. Talking to Tony Romo in the dairy isle is a little different than stepping over someone at the automated checkout lane.Comment

Re: Shoppers step over a dying woman.
And if you were in your "get in, get out" routine, in which you fail to notice anything around you besides the groceries, how would you notice the athlete anyways.
Oh well, thats the society we live in.Comment

Why not. You noticed the athlete, but fail to help the dying person on the floor.

Well, if you purposely had to step over the person on the floor, then I would think that you would notice that something was wrong.Comment

Re: Shoppers step over a dying woman.
You said you would've "stepped over her" just like they did. If you stepped over her, you must've noticed her, or else you would've tripped over her body which was laying on the floor.
But this is a pointless, and pathetic, arguement. And I hope to God these aren't the values you teach your kids.Comment

Re: Shoppers step over a dying woman.
I'm saying what any normal, thoughtful human being would say to you.
And trust me, if I wanted to have it be a "holier than thou" personal attack - I would have said it a lot differently. This site, and my values, frown upon personal attacks, so I have no real feelings towards you other than disgareeing 100% and then some with your opinion.Comment
