Any free audio editing programs where I can save the file?

I was just wondering... every site that I have looked at thus far, I can't edit an MP3 without not saving it. I'm trying to do some fading and cutting to some of the Ocean's Eleven soundtrack to get rid of the little bits of dialogue that they sprinkled in the album (damn you, Soderbergh!), and I can't without one of these programs.

    Any help is appreciated.

    Nevermind, guys... I found one.

Not sure how long my trial is, but if anyone else is looking for one, here is one that you can save files with:

    Thanks anyway.

Hey, thanks... but somehow I can't seem to find out how to enable all of the features. I have nearly EVERYTHING greyed out. Is this because I'm downloading the free version?

Not sure why everything's greyed out....I've never used it. It's not 'cause it's free....they only have a free version.

Well if you have the song imported/opened, you should be able to use most of the options. To use the effects and analyze features, a section of the song must be selected, kinda when cut/copying text.

Yeah, I forgot to highlight sections. Thanks.

Unfortunately, I don't think that I know how to do most of this stuff, or what doing some of these features mean. I guess I'll learn just by messing with it.

Any quick instruction on removing vocals (if that's at all possible)?
