That was a really good episode! I think in the end Jesse is gonna end up forgiving them once he sees what they were trying to stop.

It was a little ridiculous that they didn't just storm the building, but overall I liked it.

It seems they have written themselves into a corner a bit, if he's back in the CIA or whatever, what are they going to send him back to Miami? It started getting a tad unbelievable that Miami was some major international espionage nexus, but the CIA sending him back seems a bit wonky.

There were a couple of "intellectual leaps" but overall, I get so wrapped up in this show, I'm happy to let them go...

That being said, I was hoping Sam would have kneecapped Vaughn for allowing one of his guys to wack Maddy in the head to the point where she got her head bloodied...

As far as where this is all going next season...

I thought the addition of Jessie would signal the "jump the shark" syndrome that most new characters do in series that have been on a while, but it didn't happen...

Therefore, I have faith that Matt Nix has something solid up his sleeve to keep this one going at top speed for at least a while more...

Liked the finale a lot, but since I've only started watching a season ago or so, I don't know who the guy at the end was. I assume he was Michael's original employer, but I don't know any details. Can anyone enlighten me?

Yeah, I was wondering the same thing. I thought maybe they might change up the scenery and style of the show at this point, but I have no clue about their production setup or if they want the show format to change a bit at this point.

Now, I do think they could make it work if they went with more mythology and story arcs, rather than a couple minutes at the start and end of an episode, but I don't think USA wants their shows to go that way. There has to be a contained story with just a pinch of mythology, sans the finales it seems.

Either way, it really was a great finale that made up for the terrible finale of the last half season. Burn Notice has usually done a great job with finales (except the last one), but this may have been my favorite to this point.

No, that was his first appearance in the show, but I like that CIA rep as an actor (Dylan Baker I think is his name) so I hope that guy sticks around.

All I know is, if they lose Bruce Campbell screen time they will likely lose me as a viewer (though I am really looking forward to the Sam Axe prequel movie in the spring).
