    Brotherhood Season 2

    Looks like this will be starting September 30. I really hope more people watch this this time out, so that it might stick around a couple of more seasons. I will definitely watch the last season on dvd in preparation for this season.

      I really liked this show. I've said it before but I think it was kind of cool that the DVD came out the Tuesday after the series ended on a Sunday.

          Yeah, I thought that was cool, but what was even cooler was the $19.99 price tag at Wal-Mart.

              LOL-forgot to mention that. I saw the "catch up" day when Showtime aired the first 6 episodes consecutively.

                  I'm going to rent season 1 here in a bit and check that out. I just got a OZ season 1 as a gift, and everyone keeps saying I will love this show because The Wire is my favorite show of all time. So i'll probably go through that first before watching Brotherhood.

                      I have read that this was picked up for a third season, but does anyone know when it will be airing? I'm thinking in August or September, but I would hate for it to start and miss an episode.

                          All I have read is that the third season will be 8 episodes.

                          I am looking forward to this show. With Sopranos and the Wire finished, it is the only show, OC/gangster, of its type that is still on.

                              are you talking about the new season? They are on season 3

                                  Sucks that it's only going to be 8 episodes, looks like they are winding down. Hopefully they give it a good ending.

                                      that's better than nothing though. I was worried they werent going to renew the show for a 3rd season. Im just glad they are going to be able to have a 3rd season at all.

                                                  Some episodes or parts of episodes are absolutely riveting (Michael's assistance to a cold hit man was one of the most intense moments I've ever seen), but the politicking and family life have too many up and down moments. Also in Season 2 they went astray with the character of Mike and mob boss Freddie Cork. The brain injury to Mike was played lamely and confusingly when he suddenly turned police informant and Cork lost his mojo as a mob boss by being too easily corralled by the cops. I'm still looking forward to Season 3, but wonder what direction they will take with what I'm positive will be the last season.

                                                      Was watching showtime and saw a short commercial for the Brotherhood, and it showed coming in November.
