I'm watching the Foo Fighters right now.....it's pretty cool knowing this guy (Dave Grohl) comes into your store constantly and here he is playing a concert that the whole world is potentially watching.

mtv did an interview with some guy at the concert and it was hilarious... He was going off on the concert for having so many people and everyone burning fuel and polluting the air... Said the concert wasn't worth what they were doing to the environment lol.

How much "green" did Al Gore want for a ticket to this event. If this was truely for a cause, it should have been free. Yea, i know. The stadiums have to charge, vendors, yea, yea, i get it. How much of an example did the bands set for this cause on traveling, equipment, lighting, etc..

You can hear all of it for free anyway. The money is going to whatever he wants to be researched.

If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)

The carbon footprint for this concert was 100,000 trees. Ol' Al better use that money to start planting trees. He has 100,001 to plant to "come out ahead" here. That's a lot of digging!

Al will just throw some money to the carbon credit group and they will "supposedly" plant the trees.

                            Wow....check out these #s......

---The total carbon footprint of the event, taking into account the artists’ and spectators’ travel to the concert, and the energy consumption on the day, is likely to be at least 31,500 tonnes of carbon emissions …

Throw in the television audience and it comes to a staggering 74,500 tonnes. In comparison, the average Briton produces ten tonnes in a year.

The concert will also generate some 1,025 tonnes of waste at the concert stadiums - much of which will go directly into landfill sites.

From the same piece, the Stockholm Environment Institute’s Dr John Barrett: “It would be far better for these celebrities to stay at home. Holding large concerts to highlight environmental concerns and cut carbon emissions just seems ridiculous. What planet do these people live on?”---

                              That's pretty ironic.
