I agree, it with trob, does look pretty awesome, at least the first one...........
It would be even more awesome it they were as tenacious as they look. But the fact that it won't be able to live a normal life is pretty sad ........ it is what it is, unfortunately......

Re: Dont F with this Dog, he is roided up!!!
Where does it say that the dogs are hurting? I'm sure they are going through some stuff but I haven't seen anything in what I've read about them being put to sleep for health reasons, they are usually put to sleep because they don't "look right".Originally posted by BlzerLet me assure you that I am a huge proponent of size, and it greatly matters. Don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise.
If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)Comment

You know what jmood, you are right. Remember, I was just bringing this story along from another forum I read it on. Apparently this "putting down Bully Whippets" is a myth.
I guess I should have looked around more on the subject like you did.

Originally posted by petshed articleFox and Wendy are two whippets who are normal in almost every way. While Fox (the lighter-colored one) has an light, agile build, Wendy is probably three times bulkier than Fox - and it's all muscle.
According to the New York Times, Wendy is a "bully whippet"- a musclebound, heavyset version of her more-spindly siblings. Bully whippets are usually put to sleep (even though they have a normal whippet temperament in every way) simply because they don’t live up to the American Kennel Club whippet standard.

June 27I've owned and been active in the whippet community for over ten years and know many breeders, particularly of race whippets, that have been active in this for decades and NO ONE puts down their bully whippets. I don't know where this myth arose, but no one euthanises double-muscled whippets. What they actually do--they adopt the dog out as a pet-quality whippet (rather than for showing) and require it to be spayed or neutered. I repeat, no one is killing these puppies. If you feel the need to verify this, contact anyone in WRAP (Whippet Rescue and Placement) of the US. Or LOTRA. Or local breed, racing, or lure coursing clubs.
If you want to report a story on sighthounds culled and euthanised as puppies, do a story on greyhound racing. But try to get the facts right next time.
EDIT: Never knew so much cross breeding was going on.Originally posted by petshed articleInnovative cross-breeding continues to give some of the more interesting designer dogs we know now: Puggles (cross between a Pug and a Beagle), Chowggles (Beagle and a Chow Chow), Labradoodles (Labrador & Poodle), and Chiweiners (Chihuahua/Dachshund), are some of the more popular varieties today.Last edited by Boltman; 07-11-2007, 08:02 AM.Comment

Oh man, look at this cow!

And then check out this stacked cow.

Holy crap! Humans can get this too.

Another kid.......Originally posted by ctv articleROOSEVELT PARK, Mich. -- Liam Hoekstra was hanging upside down by his feet when he performed an inverted sit-up, his shirt falling away to expose rippled abdominal muscles.
It was a display of raw power one might expect to see from an Olympic gymnast.
Liam is 19 months old. Liam has a rare genetic condition called myostatin-related muscle hypertrophy, or muscle enlargement. The condition promotes above-normal growth of the skeletal muscles; it doesn't affect the heart and has no known negative side effects, according to experts.
Liam has the kind of physical attributes that bodybuilders and other athletes dream about: 40 percent more muscle mass than normal, jaw-dropping strength, breathtaking quickness, a speedy metabolism and almost no body fat.
In fitness buffs' terms, the kid is ripped.
"We call him The Hulk, Hercules, the Terminator," his mother said.
Liam can run like the wind, has the agility of a cat, lifts pieces of furniture that most children his age couldn't push across a slick floor and eats like there is no tomorrow -- without gaining weight.
"He's hungry for a full meal about every hour because of his rapid metabolism," Dana Hoekstra said. "He's already eating me out of house and home." Liam's father, a die-hard University of Michigan fan, already is dreaming big things for his adopted son.
"I want him to be a football player. He could be the next Michael Hart," Neil Hoekstra said, referring to U-M's star running back. Dana Hoekstra said her suspicion that Liam was physically different quickly intensified. Two days after he was born, Liam could stand up and support his weight if someone held his hands to provide balance, she said. Liam's muscular thighs at 5 months of age gave him the appearance of a miniature Lance Armstrong. By 8 months, Liam was doing pull-ups and, a month later, climbing up and down stairs, his mother said.
"When he fell backward, he would land on his butt, but he never hit his head on the ground," Dana Hoekstra said. "His stomach would tense up and he would catch himself before his head hit the ground. You could see his stomach muscles. He had a little six-pack."
Liam has given his mother a black eye and once punched a hole in the plaster wall during a tantrum. "That's called attitude," his mother said.

Ah, cool, so I can now say the dog looks awesome without being judged as a dip**** for it?
Not saying I'm not a dip****, but it's not because I think the dog looks cool at least.
That cow looks amazing. It's crazy how much bulk they put on. I think I remember seeing something about that little boy, or a little boy at least that was really musclebound. I think observers thought they were giving the boy supplements or making him work out when he really just had some kind of disorder. Can't really remember though.PS: You guys are great.

Forget the pooches. No negative side affects for those kids? Thats hard to believe, but if that is the case then they are going to be quasi-superheros. Benching 7 bills, 50 inch verts, running legit 3.9's. I just wonder if their tendon's, ligaments and bones, are going to be able to handle the forces that their muscles will be able to produce.Jordan Mychal Lemos
