I remember hating Silverhawks as a kid so I do agree with that. I loved Transformers though.

Uh, maybe because it actually provides some stimulation for little kids?

All those other cartoons were there for entertainment and had no educational value.

Anyways, I have to agree with Transformers now that I look at it with hindsight however I can't place it as the worst ever because there were some VERY good episodes sprinkled into the mix.

I also somewhat disagree with Goof Troop being on the list. I remember that as a pretty good cartoon. Sure Goofy was dumbed down a bit more (nearly an impossible task really) but I found his interaction with Pete to be a hoot. Contrary to the article I don't think it was the first of the terrible cartoons that marked the end of Disney Afternoon but rather I think it was the last mildly good cartoon series Disney put out.

HaHa, Captain Planet was definitely a bad cartoon. Although I do have to admit, i use to watch it all the time.

I must say if you go on Youtube that Transformers the cartoon doesn't hold up. But its pure nostalgia should protect it from a list like this.

I didn't mind Goof Troop or Transformers, but the rest I agree with. There have definitely been worse cartoons than those on the list, and I'd definitely rather watch all of those than the live-action "teen" television shows on kids' channels.

I agree, the live action "teen" shows need to go. Bring back the classic Saturday Morning Cartoons.

Yeah, if somebody who didn't watch it growing up saw an episode, they would seriously think some of us had a brain defect for thinking it was a good show.

Anyone remember the first Transformers movie when Optimus Prime died? I was like 4 or 5 when I saw it, but I'll never forget it because they were cussing in it. I'm pretty sure if I saw it now, I would realize how horrible it was.
