Captain Planet was horrible and cheesy even when I was young. No suprise its on the list. Pokemon should own all however. That had to be the most pointless cartoon ever invented. If Power Rangers were a cartoon, that should also be considered. I got a few as well that never made it past a few seasons that could be added. C.O.P.S, Bionic Six, James Bond Jr., Go-Bots, the Punky Brewster cartoon, The Mister T show, Pac-Man show, , the Ewoks, the Mario and Luigi super show, Rocklords, the 3 Stooges.....this list can run on forever.

And for the record, the worst Scobby Doo was "A Pup Named Scobby Doo".


And who can forget.....




I cant believe the based an entire show on a Rubix cube. Baffling!

I must say if you go on Youtube that Transformers the cartoon doesn't hold up. But its pure nostalgia should protect it from a list like this.

The fact that it had a character like Starscream should have protected Transformers from this list.

Aw man Graphik how can you diss C.O.P.S.? That was a great cartoon IMO. I especially liked Bulletproof and Mainfraime. Ok some of the characters had cheesy names but it was a fun show which had a touch of maturity to it.

I dunno, I can't dog a show that was as groundbreaking as that (having a black character leading the good guys) and one that was humourous but at the same time interesting.

Anyone remember the first Transformers movie when Optimus Prime died? I was like 4 or 5 when I saw it, but I'll never forget it because they were cussing in it. I'm pretty sure if I saw it now, I would realize how horrible it was.

I actually picked that up at Wal-Mart over the weekend.

Another sucky cartoon was that one that had Michael Jordan, Bo Jackson and Wayne Gretzky as the stars. And what was that one Nintendo cartoon that had Simon Belmont as a star and other Nintendo characters? I remember not liking that one either.

I'd actually like to retract COPS from my list. Come to think of it, I actually liked the show. Can still remember the theme music. It just seemed to come and go without a trace.

Dont care what anybody says, that cartoon ruled. You had Kid Icarus, Mega Man, the Gameboy going up against the likes of Eggplant Wizard and Mother Brain.

I agree, the live action "teen" shows need to go. Bring back the classic Saturday Morning Cartoons.

Bring back any Saturday morning cartoons. Kids today are missing out. I ean there is the Cartoon Network,but I can't stomach anything that comes on until Adult Swim. And I'm quickly tiring on the stuff that is on there.

MC Hammer had a totally abysmal cartoon where he had talking shoes. It probably didn't last long enough to make the list.

I want to defend Transformers, but at the same time I can't argue against the fact that it doesn't hold up well. Still, the concept alone should keep it from this list.

How about Care Bears? Rainbow Bright? Those were awful. Can't disagree with Captain Planet or Pokemon (even though Pokemon was after my time so I guess I never had a chance to like it). And as much as I loved it then, The Super Mario Bros Super Show does not stand the test of time at all (though the live action bits are good fun). The Zelda cartoon which aired every Friday in place of Mario probably saves it as that cartoon was, and still is, fun.
