Hey guys, I need some advice. I am going to put 10 games on ebay, but I cannot decide on what the reserve should be. The games are all 360 games, and include King Kong, PGR3, Blitz, SCA, COD2, CH2K6, NBA2K6, NHL2K6, Prey, an NFS:Carbon CE. I was thinking of setting the reserve at $100, but I think I may be shooting a little too high. What do you all think?

i never understood the reserve process. why not just set the opening bid at $100?

If you sell games together, the value goes down. Remember that Blitz, CH2k6, NBA 2k6, and NHL2k6 are all, essentially worthless.

You'd probably do better selling King Kong, PGR3, COD2, Prey, and NFS Carbon individually, and just keeping the sports games. Though the games are pretty old; I wouldn't expect more than $10-$15 per.

Yes. Sell the non-sports games individually and maybe group the sports games in one auction. The reason you don't list anything at a higher price right off the bat is because it's a higher insertion fee. Buy It Now/Reserve are the same thing. When you list low, you take a bit of a gamble that the item might not bring much. One of the things you can do is look for similar items listed and then check the "completed" box on the left side to see what recent items have sold for.

One of the things you can do is look for similar items listed and then check the "completed" box on the left side to see what recent items have sold for.

I do this quite a bit, it is a very good bit of advice for learning the worth of your items before you list.
