Widgets (MAC) post some cool onesJust found this one. It's a plugin for I-tunes. Every song that you are playing it finds the lyrics. Pretty fast too.

Re: Widgets (MAC) post some cool ones

I'd recommend putting one of the many available calculator widgets on your dash - that's always helpful. If you get a lot of packages, I believe there are some great widgets available for tracking packages.

Otherwise it looks like you've got everything I've got, but I know there are a ton more out there.

Re: Widgets (MAC) post some cool ones

I never use the dashboard... everything i really need I put in the tool bar.

I've got an Adium icon, controls for Itunes, a weather program (I use WeatherDock and messed around with setting so it's just in the tool bar... I highly reccomend this program), an alarm clock(Alarm Clock 2), and a calendar program (MenuCalendarClock)... all in addition to the normal bluetooth icon, airport icon, battery indicator, and clock.

I find it takes too much time to bring up the dashboard, especially on a slower mac. I got everything I need up on the toolbar.Originally posted by DaImmaculateONeHow many brothers does Sub-zero running around in his clothing? No one can seem to kill the right one.Comment

We've got most of the same ones. I also have an espn one that updates scores and stuff. I like the baseball standings one. I'll have to look for that one. If I remember when I get home, I'll post a screen of my dashboard.Comment

Re: Widgets (MAC) post some cool ones

I use a program called bytecontroller. It displays the song / album cover when a new song comes on (in the menu bar) and has 3 buttons (previous song, pause, next song) in your menu bar.

Going to download growl now and see what it's likeMy Fan Page http://theusualgamer.net/MyFanPage_Heelfan71.aspx

Re: Widgets (MAC) post some cool ones

I tried to post link to growl last night but their website was down. Its like a system wide notification program. It pops up when you get new emails and stuff like that. A lot of programs are building in growl compatibility.

Let me know if you want to try skitch. It a snapshot taking image editing program. I am in the private beta and i have two invites. Its a neat little program.
