Laptop Help
Well I bought a laptop through Dell but for some reason the deal fell through and now I need to find a new one. What should I get? I'm looking for a good one that I can use for school and downloading stuff. Anybody know of any particular brands I should look at?Originally posted by BlzerLet me assure you that I am a huge proponent of size, and it greatly matters. Don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise.
If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)Tags: None -

Re: Laptop Help
I have a Dell Inspiron E1505, which I got last month to take to college and it's great. It's pretty much an all around good laptop.
You could probably find one for under $1000 at most places/Originally posted by BlzerNo, I don't have anything better to do. Now, I answered your question... is it possible for you to answer mine, or am I really just wasting my time here?Comment

Re: Laptop Help
Depends what you actually want to do on the laptop. If you're only going to surf the net and word process, you won't be needing much for that. However if you want to be able to play games with integrated video cards, there are always those new Dells (inspirons and vostros). Vostros are cheaper (start at $550 i think) if you don't need top of the line stuff and Inspirons are cheaper if you plan to go higher end (processor, ram, hd) with the use of the coupon.I do because I can, I can because I want, I want because you say I can'tComment
