I gave up Nip/Tuck last year. It was getting too silly with the midget and the relationship problems were getting old. None of the character grew and actually made you hate your favorite characters after last season. It lost a lot of steam after we find out who The Carver was.

Real World was a show i watched all the time, but I guess it got old too with bringing in real idiots that were put their to argue all the time. I get that enough at home so watching it on tv is not entertaining to me anymore.

I gave up one last season of Nip/Tuck, but I'll be a faithful watcher again this year as long as they keep it fresh, something that didn't happen last year. That and The Shield are my favorite shows.

As far as shows I'm trying to get into more, House always gets me watching.

I gave up on Alias after about season 3 I think. I really liked the show but they kept changing the time slot of it and it would interfere with other shows I liked to watch. But I kinda drifted away from it regardless, although Jennifer Garner is

Law & Order after Roy Orbach died.

Most TV shows these days don't impress me much so I watch very little tv series.

I'm sure you mean season 5...season 4 was excellent, IMO.

You should give it another chance, season 3 the 2nd half was awesome. Maybe when it comes out on DVD

Yeah, the first part of Season 3 was pretty crappy... the second half... by far the best show on TV. Ever since they had the end date down, the show has been on fire.

Yeah, give Lost another shot. The second half of season 3 is flat out amazing.

I gave up on Grey's Anatomy. It got too stupid IMO. And too unbelievable.

I was about to give up on ER like a lot of people have but then Ray lost his legs and the episode bothered me so much that I realized that show can still pack a punch. Just not sure if it's worth sitting thru all the crap-boredom-fests when it's not trying too hard.

Re: TV Shows You Gave The Axe To

I've never given up on a show, per sey. I used to watch two shows on the CW Network(formally the WB), but I found better shows to watch at the same night and time. I grew out of the shows due to how I realized they weren't as good as I had thought them to be. Other than those two shows, I've never missed an episode of any other series.

And by series, I mean 1-hour actual shows. I watch some Sitcoms, but I haven't seen all the epidoes for them. I like to watch Scrubs, but I haven't been able to see all the episodes; as I just started watching the show a few months ago, and I watch a different show on Thursdays when the new episodes air.

Nip/Tuck. Seasons 3 and 4 were terrible...and with Rosie O'Donnell back for Season 5 things aren't looking too good.
