      Nip/Tuck without a doubt...

I watched that religiously week after week, but the show just became too outrageous. It was like "just stop it already"... the director just was too over the top with the rest of the episodes...

I stopped watching around late last year.

Real World was a show i watched all the time, but I guess it got old too with bringing in real idiots that were put their to argue all the time. I get that enough at home so watching it on tv is not entertaining to me anymore.

Haven't gave it the axe yet BUT if next season doesn't start out good then unfortunately my favorite show in a long time will be getting the axe from me...and that show is 24.

24 and Lost....I know that everyone loves Lost but I just missed a couple of episodes and then just stoped watching it. I watched 24 for 1 and a half seasons, It just seemed like the same thing every season to me. IMO

Who the hell would want Rosie on their Show. She is a Bitch, IMO. Hell didn't The View and The Rosie Show teach her and other shows to keep her off TV. Hopefully she be a Character that gets killed in the first couple of episodes, lol.

Nip/Tuck, The Simpsons, and Family Guy come to mind...though I do enjoy watching Family Guy on DVD.

We are on the same wavelength Mike. A show that I watched the first two seasons on DVD at a pace that rivaled my 4 season marathon of "The Wire" became a chore to watch.

there's always you can do that on television reruns on youtube ...

i gave up on the simpsons after about season 5, x files after mulder left, mtv after the videos left (circa 92?), and i still haven't seen the final episode of bullrun for some reason.

A couple old school shows I gave up on but the writing was on the wall so you can't blame me for giving up on them. Family Matters and Step By Step when they both moved to CBS for their final season. However in the case of Family Matters I DID watch the series finale.

Interestingly enough one other old school comedy show I SHOULD'VE given up on was Perfect Strangers. If you're old enough to remember the show disappeared from ABC's schedule without a proper send off for about 2-3 years then it returned for a short 6 or so episode run where Larry and Balkhi and their wives were living in this big house. The quality never really left but too much time had past and there was no way the show would be a ratings winner again.

I stuck to it right to the end tho. I just wish it would be put out on DVD.

I dont get the people in charge of Law and Order CI the Chris Noth episodes are horrible.

The 1st season of the 4400 was so good then its like they didnt know what to do anymore.
