    Re: ESPN WHO'S NOW

I'm glad to see I am not alone in thinking this is one of the worst segments in television history and speaks volumes about television today...

And to the person who said they were shocked Wilbon would participate in such garbage, I don't understand it either. He is one of the few people on ESPN that I respect.

I'm honestly surprised ESPN didnt scrap this segment when Roger Federer was 'upset'

I dont see how these people can take themselves seriously when they discuss this

I find it hysterical that the "worldwide leader in sports today" labeled the Who's Now contest between Federer and Tony Parker as "Roger Federer vs Eva Longoria's husband". I expect that kind of heading on a soap channel.

I've changed my mind, they can keep doing this segment as long as Jessica Biel is on it all the time now.

I agree with everyone in this thread. Who's Now is the worst thing I have ever seen. I have barely been watching Sportscenter for the last year or so, but this is the last straw. I'm done with Sportscenter.

Remember when Sportscenter used to show stats? Now they just have that tiny box in the right hand corner with the score. Same with Baseball Tonight, it used to have complete box scores, now they give us such a abbreviated stats that I can watch a whole episode and still not know what happened today in baseball. Both shows used to be great, and now they have gone so far downhill that I can't even complete an episode.

Who's Now is terrible, but nothing... nothing will ever top the Steve Phillips press conference thing they did a couple of years ago. Nothing.

That's the one thing I used to love about SC and NFL Primetime. You got the score, stats, interesting info and the teams' records all on one screen. Now today you'll be lucky to get that. At least it hasn't been so bad in Canada. The Canadian SC at times shows all that info with certain games in every sport and more or less does that with every hockey game. Same goes for Sportsnet but they're more lax in that you'll only get that info for Blue Jays games and the occasional other game. Again, they do the full treatment more often then not for hockey.

At least you guys still have ESPNews

what sucks is, the people can vote all they want in favor of someone, but if the panel is 3-0 or even 2-1 the fans votes are nixed anyway... this is a complete and utter joke..

I'm soooo tired of ESPN nowadays. THe Who's Now is as bad as the 50 states in 50 days they ran last summer and twice in that same year. I'm now waking up early to catch the Fox Sports FSN to catch all the games without any crap in between my morning breakfast. I usually watch Mike and Mike after.

Sadly this is supposedly the only part(ESPN network) of the ABC that is really making good money.

The 50 states in 50 days wouldn't of been to bad if they hit more then 1 spot in each state. I hate they went to stupid Permian HS for Texas.

NOTHING was worse then ESPN dubbing USC the greatest team ever, and comparing them against teams like 49 Army.
