Indiana Jones Trilogy
So, I went through the three Indiana Jones films this past week after years of not seeing them and I can't wait for the new movie out next year. The whole B-movie action/adventure vibe is terrific (of course), and I think it would be really cool in the whole atmosphere to see the films in black and white.

The original is just that: original. From the giant rolling ball of death to the whole snake thing and the elusive ending it was/is just a complete blockbuster in every definition of the word. The second had its' moments, but with an annoying supporting cast, it was a letdown. The 3rd is serviceable, but Sean Connery sharing the screen with Ford was/is just too much star power to pull off. These were Ford's movie and Connery should never have been brought in. -

I prefer the first one...though I enjoyed them all.
I remember getting creeped out watching 'Temple of Doom' as a kid with the whole heart ripping thing, and then upon watching it as an adult, realizing how petty the effects were!

Raiders was the best but a little too dark for my tastes. Temple of Doom was too cheesy and comedic. Crusade had the right mix of seriousness and cheesy moments and for me that's probably the best of the 3 in terms of my preference so I picked it.

I liked them all, but Last Crusade is my favorite. Maybe not the "best" but it's the one I always enjoy the most. After that Raiders then Temple of Doom. I've seen them all at least 10 times apiece though, so none of them are bad.Comment
