    Re: Emmy Nominations

It's James Spader's second win (he won Lead Actor in a Drama in 2005) and Boston Legal still draws over 9 million viewers a week.

I don't understand why it would be canceled in one year.
"It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. And that those who receive and act out the gift of athletic genius must, perforce, be blind and dumb about it -- and not because blindness and dumbness are the price of the gift, but because they are its essence." - David Foster Wallace

"You'll not find more penny-wise/pound-foolish behavior than in Major League Baseball." - Rob Neyer

He didn't win and that comment is laughable. I enjoy House but there's no way that playing a quirky doctor is better than the job Gandolfini has done with Tony Soprano. He's made people love and hate the character.

This past season? Yes, I'd say Hugh Laurie did a better job than Gandolfini.

Many actors have made people love and hate their character.

That doesn't mean that they are the greatest television character in history.
