One time I took my Dreamcast over to a friends house and we were playing NFL2k on the same team against his brother. His brother kept beating us and my friend got pissed and kicked the Dreamcast and the disc door flew open and NFL2k flew out of the machine and hit against the wall. The disc didnt break but it had a nasty scratch on it and wouldnt work after that incident. I would have been mad, but I was laughing my *** off.

Don't feel bad, I did the same thing with my NCAA 2007 disc.

Here's something I read on another forum though that might help:
I figure that this applies to video games as well.

I have actually done this before. I will look into seeing if it can be replaced locally at first, but then I'll pursue the EA route. Thanks for the info though!

My Crackdown had the same problem so I tried the Boiling Disk approach to it. It worked, but then stoped working again about 3 days later.

You can probably resurface it. I remember Madden 02 or something was scratched horribly... I got it resurfaced... worked like a charm.

Forget it. I did the same thing with Hitman:Blood Money and got it resurfaced and it still doesn't work.
