Tell me everything I need to know about Sirius sat. radio

I just decided I wanna go with Sirius over XM. I have a factory installed audio deck in my car...do i need to upgrade to a satellite ready car audio deck?
Also, what's the best Sirius radio to go with if i'm going to be using it for both car and at home?

I've seen that the Sportster 3 is on sale for $50. Anyone have it? Pros? Cons? Would I be missing out on much by not paying more for the Sporster 4 or Starmate 4?

    Thanks in advance.

Now, I'm in a bit of a dilemma. My Gamecocks are currently with Sirius, but are moving to XM next year. I was under the impression that Sirius had all the SEC schools, but on closer inspection it only has half of them with the one i'm most interested in leaving next year.

Gotta go research the Sirius/XM package deals. Are those just proposed deals or are they set in stone?

Florida also going to XM in '09... I actually have cancelled my Sirius sub, mainly due to the fact the home reception is, well, rather weak. I lose it for a long stretch at night, which doesn't help me. (that was a big issue for me, and basically the deciding factor). I still have my XM, & get great reception with it.
