I'm not sure I'm ready to see this series end. 1st one was a masterpiece, second one wasn't to far off. STARTS TOMORROW! (8/04/07)

Yeah, seeing it first thing tommorow! I'm glad to hear its the best of the 3, because the last 2 were amazing. No doubt there will be a car chase scene and if its anything like the last one then its an instant classic for me.

Books always demolish movies, so thats why if I see the movie version first I'll leave the books of the series alone so as not to ruin the rest of the films.

The books and movies are very separate entities from what I understand.

So it's possible to appreciate both, if you are so inclined.

In any case, I got back from Bourne Ultimatum, and I have to say, it's easily the best movie of the summer (along with Ratatouille). Just amazing action. I can't wait to see it again, and this time I plan on watching the first two on HD-DVD before watching Ultimatum for the second time in theaters.

Very true. I just find it amazing they left out the MAIN PLOT from the books...

Yep. Books and Movies are very different. It fact I love all of both of them.

Knowing little about the Ultimatum movie...it is possible the series doesn't end here. As there have been two new books, albeit by a different guy.

It would at least give them a title for the forth and fifth movies if nothing else.

Saw the movie last night... fantastic action throughout. I love the hand to hand combat sequences--I love the frenetic pacing. The first 30 minutes are a little slow in order to set up everything, but from then on I loved every minute. I hope they make another (although it doesn't sound like Damon wants that) but I don't see where they could go with it.

I really enjoyed this one! I liked it better than the last, it had a really good flow to it. Good hand to hand combat and stunts.

Better than Transformers? More entertaining than Knocked Up? More appeal than the Simpsons and Chuck and Larry?

Must be one hell of a movie.

                            Re: The Bourne Ultimatum

Just saw a double feature of this and El Cantante (which was pretty good, BTW).

Casino Royale is a better spy film, but I prefer the more the grounded tone of Bourne. Hate how some of the action scenes are shot, and also the flashbacks. Only two truly stand out action pieces, one in Morocco, and one in the third act.

It's still very enjoyable, though. Tightly edited, it only has a few moments where you feel the almost two-hour runtime.

Haven't seen Transformers, so I won't compare, but I recommend this.

                              Great movie, horrible experience.

I went to the 3:30 showing think it'd be empty. I get in the theater at about 3:40 and have to sit in the very first row, looking up at the screen. With the neck pains and motion sickness, I couldn't wait for the movie to be over.

I can't wait for the DVD. Enjoy it in comfort on the couch.

Why would you go into a new release late and think that it would be empty?
