 Re: Serenity: Collector's Edition

from Nathan Fillion's (Mal) myspace blog about people messaging him about Firefly (link to blog):

I think more Firefly isn't gonna happen (it would have by now I think). Is there going to be more Firefly?: Look. Of all the places you are going to hear about more Firefly, this ain't it. Go find a Firefly site. If it WERE happening- you think I'd have time for MySpace? And, I know you want to be funny, ask anyways, and then put "JOKING!" behind it, but- even if you really thought you were the first person to do it, do you really think that's funny enough? If so, please- leave the funny to me. I am a professional and we don't want anybody getting hurt. And, as a general rule, bugging someone isn't funny for anyone but you, so stop doing it at parties. Unless people have already stopped inviting you.Nintendo Switch Friend Code: SW-7009-7102-8818Comment

Joss has also stated that because of the way Fox treated him and the show, that he wouldnt work with them. So it really seems like it will never happen.from Nathan Fillion's (Mal) myspace blog about people messaging him about Firefly (link to blog):

 Re: Serenity: Collector's Edition

The Browncoats show Serenity in theaters on a day around Joss's birthday...I saw it this year (had just seen Firefly, wanted to see Serenity in the theater). Was a ton of fun and raised money for charity. I hope the browncoats hold that much power, got my fingers crossed!Nintendo Switch Friend Code: SW-7009-7102-8818Comment

 Re: Serenity: Collector's Edition

I never watched the show but it's ridiculous how Fox has no idea how to present good shows. Showing episodes out of order, changing the time randomly, making it go on hiatus for months etc does not help a show succeed.Originally posted by BlzerLet me assure you that I am a huge proponent of size, and it greatly matters. Don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise.

If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)Comment

 Re: Serenity: Collector's Edition

This came out last week, but I just watched the movie (for the first time) today. I thought the movie was an amazing end to the show. The only thing it didn't answer were the "blue men," but other than that, I thought the movie was terrific. I'm glad I watched the series before watching the movie because I don't think I would have been as attached to the characters had I not watched Firefly.

 Re: Serenity: Collector's Edition

I agree that watching the series makes it much easier to understand and enjoy the movie. I orginally saw Serenity without watching an episode of Firefly and didn't like the movie at all. Then I went and watched the series and watched the movie again and loved it.This came out last week, but I just watched the movie (for the first time) today. Re: Serenity: Collector's Edition

Watching the series makes the two deaths a lot more significant.

Anyway, I'm hoping Whedon can develop another tv series somewhere else. I loved the villains in Firefly.

 Re: Serenity: Collector's Edition

So, has anybody actually picked up the Collector's Edition other than myself? The case is pretty cool and the special features sound cool as well.
