50 finally has a good song again

50 has been on a decline after Get Rich or die tryin. The Masscre was good, but compared to Get Rich.........it wasn't as good. The songs lacked the style and raw emotion he had put into his first album.

His new album Curtis has yet to be released, but his singles from the album don't strike me as being good. I don't like I get money too much, i really dislike Amusement Park and Straight to the Bank.

It was almost as if hes completely lost it, then i heard Ayo Technology, now thats a good song. Its almost like a In Da Club but with a more retro sound. I don't like Justin Timberlake, but his verse is pretty damn good. Timberland is also in it, but his role is minor. The Song brings back that old feeling of listen to 50. His new album might not be Get Rich or die trying but at least he has one good single on it. Hopefully he can bring back the gritty style he had before. His songs are all about girls and money now.........had he truly lost his inner thug?

Im not sure if its allowed to post vidoes from youtube, but you guys really have to hear the song out if he refuse to go to mtv or bet. Its called Ayo Technology and i think its finally a song worthy of being on the bill charts.

50 actually raps really well in the video as well. Its not like his laid back raps, hes rapping quite fast and the lyrics aren't that bad. Bascially his style is good in the video

You can't deny In Da Club, Just a little bit, Hustlers Ambition. He definitly has some good songs out there. Ayo Technology is like a throwback to him, finally shows some rapping talent

Now its time for him to get gritty and real again

He's gone soft. I had big hopes for 50 and Game when they first came out, break through this new crap, you know, be the next Snoop and Dre, but both of them liked making club beats and talking about dumb stuff.

People like to hate on 50 just to hate him. It's amusing, really. Anyhow, the best 50 Cent song he's put out recently is "I Get Money". Straight fiyah.

Timberlake is in it? As well as Timberland?

My god are they going to run for president and vice pres next? Put in Nelly Furtado as Secretary of State and we're good to go.

That money song is trash Fly!

However the "Ayo Technology" heard that the other day in a club or somewhere.. it was nice. I hate everything 50 is but that song was the real deal. Timberlake was flawless. Although I don't remember the content nor the meaning of the song. It was catchy catchy catchy.

I Get Money is crazy, easily one of my favorite 50 songs. Straight to the Bank is pretty good to, but I'm not feeling AYO Technology or Amusement Park.

Thats the exact same way i feel, i don't like i Get Money too much, but Ayo Technology just has a good beat. The entire song with the line of singers is good. Justin has that nice hook and 50s lines aren't that bad. He actually showed some nice rapping flow.

Hes singing about girls which isn't too "ghetto" but the song is hot. It really does remind me of a retro In Da Club.

Isn't 50 the reason rap is what it is today? I think he is. After all his "shootin up" and "gettin shot" and "****in bitches n hoes" it went down hill for the hip hop community.

I don't even think he's hip hop, I think hes more pop than anything.

                            Um...no.

What 50 is doing is just an extension of that old wanna be Mafioso stuff that Wu-Tang started and then Biggie took to another level.

I dont hate on 50 just to hate, but I hate on him becuase what hip hop and rap has become, and this stuff is the reason why. Gone are the days of actually lyrics carrying songs, but rather just beats are now the reason songs become popular. You take away 50s beats, and you have pretty much useless lyrics that are inchorrent to pretty much anyone. Bring back the likes of De La and Tribe, and put out music that has actual thought behind the songs. Jurrasic 5 is a great example of how to do it right in this day in age. I turn on the radio and I hear a song about some dude talking about a bar tender or something (i think, becuase the lyrics are so bad its hard to listen to, but i thinkn he said she made us drinks to drink and we drunk em), and the only reason its being played is becuase it has a great beat. The glory of hip hop is fading fast.
