I watched this on Saturday night for the first time, mainly because I wanted to see Kurt Russel in another role similar to Death Proof and I really enjoyed it. Aside from the obviously dated special effects, I thought the movie was really good.

Well, it is a Carpenter movie, so it wouldn't suprise me.
Halloween is being remade, AOP13 was remade, and Fog was remade. The Fog sucked horribly, but AOP13 was ok. Hopefully Halloween turns out good.
But yeah, not sure what the need is to remake Escape. Granted, some modern effects might be cool, but it's just pointless. Meaning, it will probably get remade.Comment
