    Pc Help

I have this computer for the last five months, it's a desktop by the way and i had to dj for my cousins wedding this past weekend, any ways i put cpu and the monitor in the trunk of my car and drove all the way to where the wedding was... the highway i drove on is one of the worst highways in jersey , lot of bumps....anyways i finally got a chance to set up my computer, when i hit the power button on the cpu you can hear that the cpu is running fine but when it's time for something to show on the monitor nothing appears. When i got home i tried different monitors but nothing...any thoughts to what might have went wrong?

I had the same problem once (just a black screen). It turned out the RAM wasn't fully connected, so check that the RAM sticks didn't get knocked loose.

Wrong forum. You might get more responses if this thread is moved to the technology forum.

Something is definitely loose on the inside. If you feel comfortable doing so, open it up and check it out.

My gf was having the same problems with her computer...I'll definitely try to make sure everything is connected and nothing is loose.

If its not a loose connection then my bet would be a faulty power supply.
