I watch a survival show for survival tips and Man vs Wild was supposed to be a survival show so him faking makes Survivorman win.

Man v. Wild is the ****. Haven't watched it in a while but caught a few episodes today. Bear Grylls drives the show though, he's a flat out beast. Regardless of if it's scripted or not, we know Bear can do these things. Cut the crap and get to the real stuff, which is what they do on Man v. Wild.

MAN VS WILD! people will vote Survivor man cuz its on more channels but screw that Bear Grylls is the man, I hope hes doing alright after that accident

I didn't know either, but a quick check on Wikipedia turned up this:

In December 2008, Grylls suffered a broken shoulder while kite surfing across a stretch of ice in Antarctica. Traveling at speeds up to 50 km/h, one of his skis caught on the ice launching him in the air and breaking his shoulder when he came down.[23] On December 7th 2008, Discovery Channel stated that Grylls did not injure himself during a taping of his Man vs. Wild show but instead was injured while on an independent expedition.

Never thought someone would kite surf while in Antarctica but then again he did fly around Mt. Everest with the parachute/fan thingy
