    Help!! Wireless Internet - Piggybacking

    Hey,
I've suspected for sometime now that the new tenant in my building across the hall has been piggybacking on my wireless network. I've noticed in the mornings when I wake up, I cannot get onto my default network and just now, I couldn't connect. So I unplugged my router from the wall (probably kicking them off) and got back on.

Question, how do I secure my network? I really want to go over there and beat the **** outta them, but I'm seeking your advice first.

    Help!!

There should be an option to set up a password, not sure exactly what you're using.

What type of router do you have? You probably want to set up a WEP. If its netgear, they help you do it once you log into the router.

Set WEP or WPA on your router. For added security, use MAC address authentication. Only allow the MAC addresses on your network access to the wireless network.
