    UGK - Underground Kingz

    For real, no UGK thread?

Just got this today, and it's a tight album. I think I might even like it better than Dirty Money. They got tons of guests too, Kool G Rap, Talib Kweli, Big Daddy Cane, Too Short and it goes on and on. Album is full of tight beats, nice laid back, riding music. Gotta find it screwed and chopped now.
    PS: You guys are great.

    I love Bun B... I hate Pimp C

Why did they ever join up?

I agree 100%. You don't see Andre from Outkast in a group with the A Bay Bay guy or Nas with Jim Jones.

The best example is Murder. Pimp C delivers an unspectacular verse. It's alright but nothing good. Then Bun B comes on and murders the songs in every possible way.

I hear where ya'll are coming from. There's no doubt that Bun B is the better rapper. As a matter of fact, there are few songs on which Bun B has been a part of that he didn't kill it. But I like Pimp c, he has personality and like the way he delivers his rhyme. It's old school, and isn't trying to be flashy or whatever. Besides that, I think them as a duo is spot on, they compliment each other if you ask me. Nice change of pace from one verse to the next.

eh, I would still go with a better partner than Pimp C. Bun B has such a unique sound that any featured rapper will complement him because it's always a switch up.

Umm yeah, was talking about his rhyming style not his attire, but good try though.

I still say you are off base, I wouldn't call his rhyme style not flashy. What rapper has a flashy rhyme style to you? And you said good try? I am glad you handle things in such a civil mature manner.

Not sure if he still does, but Pimp C used to produce a lot of the songs too (at least I think so?)

                        That's cool, everyone is entitled.

Just one? I'll go with Eminem then.

A little touchy there. Where was I being uncivil or immature in that response? I said "good try" in response to you attempting to disagree with a point that I never made. It was a little sarcastic but nothing to get upset about, and certainly wasn't meant to hurt you. I'll just say this anyway though, I'm sorry VTPack919.

And yeah, Dookie, Pimp C does/has produce(d) too.

I wasn't upset but if you want to read into something that's not there, be my guest. The good try comment was just a little lame and your explanation made no sense at all, but alas. Good try!

Enjoy your Cd. UGK is great.

Will do, thanks and I agree . Sorry if you weren't really upset, it just kind of seemed that your feelings were hurt to me, since you said I was immature, uncivil and now "lame" apparently, all for saying good try.
