    Laptop Overheating

    Anybody have any suggestions to keep my Laptop from overheating? It usually does it when I'm playing a game...BTW its a Toshiba Satelite

    I'd look into maybe getting a cooling pad to go underneath it. But IDK. Good Luck!

      Get a new Computer or try a cooling pad. It seems to work for me.

        Can't go wrong with trying a cooling pad, $20-$25 should get you a fairly decent one.

            Clean out the vents. I have to clean mine out on my old junky dell laptop a couple of times a month. Each time it overheats, I just clean the vents.

                Most of the time the fan is directly under or nearby the keyboard so you'll have to do a bit of unscrewing. If you don't feel comfortable doing it, I'm sure a computer tech wouldn't mind doing it for you for a little green.
