Should have had Jason Statham play the role, hopefully the movie doesnt turn out to be a bomb since I am somewhat interested in seeing it.

Statham would've OWNED this movie. I haven't been this upset about a person playing a particular role since I heard they were going to have Jesus (Jim Cavaziel) play Superman (I know. He didn't, thank god.)

This looks interesting though, and since I am a big fan of the games, I will certainly check out the movie.

Ya Jason Statham would have been perfect. For some reason this guy being bald just does not look right.

I bet they decided to go with a no name actor so they wouldn't have to pay him as much as they would with Statham. That way if the movie was a bust, they wouldn't lose as much as they would if they had Statham playing him.

But see, that's just it... with Statham comes cash.

Sometimes you have to give a little to get a little.

It might bring cash on the first weekend that it comes out. But if the story line sucks, or the movie just sucks in general.. thats all the money they'll be bringing in.

cmon, other than video game fans, who really knows the "hitman"? Not to mention that most video game movies normally become flops.. no matter how good they look in the preview.
