I thought these past two episodes were really good. I thought the season as a whole was excellent.

However, I agree about the strike ruining it. This ending with Michael going off should have happened in the 22nd episode of season 3, not the 13th. So much was cut from this season because of the strike.

Hopefully they actually continue the third season, and what was supposed to be in it. To me, tonight's episode should have been the actual season 3 finale, not the midway break finale.

Season 1: Break out of Fox River
    Season 2: On the run
Season 3: Break out of Sona
Season 4: Go after Gretchen and co.

However, it looks like Season 3 won't continue. It will just skip all the intermediary stuff and go straight to season 4.

I'm actually not expecting it to return in the fall to be honest with you.

If FOX cancels Prison Break, I will never watch another FOX program again.

        Not even Football.

I don't think they'll cancel it, but the show isn't as good as it used to be IMO. There are episodes here and there that are very good, but the overall quality isn't what it used to be.

It's a different show. That's probably why it might not feel as good.

The first season will always be the best one because it was true to the storyline. Then the show became this huge ordeal with the company. Obviously, the company was written in in Season One just in case they were renewed for a 2nd season.

I like the storyline but it's obviously not about breaking out of prison anymore. That's why S3 is what it is with SONA and breaking out. They probably wanted to get those fans back.

              Mahone makes no sense.

He killed members of the Fox River Eight because his family was in danger from "The Company." Now he is actually helping out "The Company" even when they have no bearing over him any more.

How do you know he's not in it just to get to the top? There were a few times this season that it seemed like he began to respect, even like Michael.

Watch for him to be part of the big double-cross at the series finale. Call it paying a final debt that he owes to himself and his family for all he's done in the past.

I was thinking this as well. I'm hoping that is how it turns out.

I don't see any other reason for why he'd join The Company.

Maybe the Company is the only way for him to get to his family. It seems like his family is his motivation.

And he also stared at that Bank for way too long for what seemed like no apparent reason.

I'm guessing there's a reason and it involves working with the Company.

This writer strike just absolutely crucified this show.

How is Season 3/4 supposed to work? We ended with 13 episodes this season, with a remaining 9 that were originally supposed to be made.

So do we come back in the fall with the remaining 9 episodes of season 3? And then go on break for a full year and come back in the Fall of 2009 with Season 4? Or are they just going to dump the rest of season 3, and rewrite everything to incorporate it into one final season?

There is going to be so much left out of the show because of this writer strike. Pretty disappointing.

I enjoyed this season, but not nearly as much as the first 2. And I thought tonight was really boring.

I'm not expecting much in the future.

Thought tonights episode was good. Wasn't too much predictability in it. I am pretty sure Lincoln is going to come back and help Michael as Sophia will probably talk him into it.

Did the whole T-Bag situation last night remind anyone of Animal Farm?

Also, did anyone else feel as if the song at the end signified the end of the series? The song just had the mystique to it, as if that was the end of the line. I wish they would have held off on using it until the final episode; unless that truly was the last we will ever see of Prison Break.

I didn't get that feeling because of the new Whistler/Mahone alliance. The writers' strike caused the show to be a bit rushed, but I'm hopeful of a great fourth season.

Oh, I'm pretty confident that they will air the final 9 episodes of season 3 and then make a season 4. That or just go straight to season 4. I don't think FOX would cancel Prison Break with the way it ended last night.

Also, when I said "it felt like it was the end of the line," I was referring to the song. The song made it feel like this was it. It would have been an amazing song to use to actually end the series. It just has that "final" feeling to it.
