More Info on Kristen Bell Coming to Heroes
Bell in at least 13 episodes; talks about choosing between roles on Heroes and Lost.

September 24th Heroes returns with Season 2.

I guess there are also reports that we will see many new heroes appear this season.

It has been announced that Kristen Bell is going to be joining Heroes for 13 episodes. I watched most of Season 1 last year, and will be picking up Season 1 next week to get caught up on what I missed.

Most anticipated season...EVAR!

I just hope the show doesn't skip a beat like 'LOST' did in their second season (not that I don't LOVE the latter, but introducing intriguing characters then killing them off 20 episodes later wasn't a good idea, IMO).

Most anticipated season...EVAR!

I just hope the show doesn't skip a beat like 'LOST' did in their second season (not that I don't LOVE the latter, but introducing intriguing characters then killing them off 20 episodes later wasn't a good idea, IMO).

LOST did go in some crazy directions with Season 2, but I really can't speak too much about Heroes since I have seen about 12 episodes of the entire 1st season.........a lot of it had to do with WWE RAW being on the same night. I did try to catch up with the Sci-Fi Marathons that they ran, but it didn't end up like I expected.

I have less than 30 days to catch up with Season 1 before Season 2 begins, so I'll be going on marathon DVD viewing over the next few weeks with Season 1. LOL!

I have faith in you candy...my wife and I blew through the first season of 'LOST' in about two weeks and the second season of "Grey's" in a bit longer in order to catch up.

The problem is that NBC/ABC/etc. would have ratings winners in the summer if they re-ran ALL the episodes. Instead they show them in order and then randomly jump (or start mid-season in the case of the recent 'Heroes' reruns).

EDIT: Now add me back on your Wii and send me your Miis again!

My wife and I should get though these in a week or two. We got through each season of Rescue Me in a few days each since those are only 13 episodes. I can't wait to see Heroes on HD-DVD.............Rescue Me on Blu-Ray was just amazing for a TV show.

Has anyone pre-ordered Heroes S1 on HD DVD? Buy.com and amazon both have it for $72 which would be a steal at $62 with Google checkout. Apparently pre-orders don't allow google checkout though. Just wondering if it'll go back to the regular $99 price tag if I wait.

It shouldn't on release day, but I never really pay attention to prices on things I pre-order so I can't really back that up.

Love hero's, can't wait for it. Love Lost, can't wait for it.

But one thing I hated is how, like others have said, everyone dies and Lost and then some come back in some stupid way.

He won't come back, and my comment was in regard to the backwards step 'LOST' took in it's second season...introducing new characters only to kill them off at the end. I thought they would have an interesting mythos that continued into season three, and yet Eko was the only one to do so (only to be killed in the first six episodes).

I'm hoping the inevitable new characters in 'Heroes' have important roles and either can stand by themselves, or serve to advance the ones we know and love to new and greater heights.

If Eko was the massive black guy, it was because he wanted to British theater and left the show, so they had to kill him off.

I agree with you that didn't work for Lost, but it worked very well for Heroes in season 1. This has SPOILERS for those who haven't seen Season 1...





Eric Roberts's character, Linderman, Ted, Eve, among others, weren't original characters, but were introduced later in the season only to be killed off. I have a feeling Candice is going to be the next character who gets killed off as she's getting her own show this fall. Looks like Leonard Roberts won't be back for season 2. Too bad, his character had potential, they didn't use it in the first season. I'm glad Syler is back now as a regular...his character has a ton of potential as well.

What do you mean he is back as a regular?

Zach Quinto was a guest star last season, but has been brought on board as a regular. Syler is now one of the "permanent" characters like Peter, Hiro, etc.
