    Wireless internet problem

I just got a laptop today and when I'm on the internet it goes extremely slow, close to dialup speed even when I'm right next to it. I have a linksys router and I don't know if I'm supposed to set something up with the laptop or what.

    I've gone from downloading at 6061 kb/s to 174.

If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)

    Re: Wireless internet problem

Well I changed the channel and now it's faster but a third the speed of what the wired computer is. Does anyone know how to make it faster? I'm using a linksys BEFW11S4 router by the way.
