    Hatchet (Opens Sept. 7th)

Slasher fans of the world unite!

I'm pumped for this. So sick of the torture porn crap. It's good to see an old school slasher back in the theaters. Getting great reviews by everyone.

First thing I thought of was a book I read in elementary school called Hatchet.

      This seems better.

I liked it better the first time when it was called Wrong Turn. Oh wait, that movie sucked! LOL!

The one thing I don't like is the killer running after his victims.

That never happens in classic slasher films. It's that deal that no matter how fast you run they'll always be there even though they take their time. It shows control of the situation and makes the fear greater.

That being said, I'm mildly interested in this film but I won't pay for it at theaters. I'll rent it when it's out on DVD.
"It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. And that those who receive and act out the gift of athletic genius must, perforce, be blind and dumb about it -- and not because blindness and dumbness are the price of the gift, but because they are its essence." - David Foster Wallace

"You'll not find more penny-wise/pound-foolish behavior than in Major League Baseball." - Rob Neyer

Ehh call me underwhelmed, glad i didnt waste the money going out to see this...

It was a funny movie, but i guess i expected them to take the scares a little more seriously, its a fun little movie, just don't expect any kind of sense of realism or logic

This movie doesn't look too bad, I'll be checking it out for sure when it comes out on DVD.

Was OK. Nothing to go running to the theaters about. The movie did have some nice Blood & Gore.. The acting was horrible & the plot was a typical "B" Horror Movie Plot

The first 3 movies that came to mind as soon as I watched this trailer.....
                          1-Friday the 13th
                          2-Pumpkinhead
                          3-Wrong Turn

                          I'll wait for the DVD.
People are for reviews if it backs their argument, and against them when they don't.

I thought of the same book, seems like one could make a movie out of it.
