They do need to find a way to make Pam and Jim more interesting since they are completely boring now that they are together.

I agree. Without that tension/anticipation, the edge is lost. Hopefully, it won't get that soap opera feel. The collaboration to prank Dwight and/or Andy needs to continue. Maybe the addition of another quirky female could spice up the plots?

They need a hot female to go after Dwight. Angela will get pissed and Dwight will try to keep the other woman away all the while really enjoying it. They could also have Andy going after the new woman and Michael could be involved depending on his status.

GUESS WHO'S COMING TO DINNER - Pam (Jenna Fischer) and Jim (John Krasinski) find they have run out of excuses and are forced to go to Jan (Melora Hardin) and Michael's (Golden Globe winner Steve Carell) house for dinner. When Andy (Ed Helms) and Angela (Angela Kinsey) are also invited to dinner, Dwight's (Rainn Wilson) jealousy gets the best of him. Leslie David Baker, Brian Baumgartner, Kate Flannery, Oscar Nunez, Phyllis Smith, Paul Lieberstein, Mindy Kaling and Creed Bratton also star.

So this is the last episode that was filmed before the strike -- apparently they will be making a 3-4 month time jump for the episodes after this to reflect the time passed since the strike. Kinda interesting -- from the previews, I don't think Jan and Michael will be living together much longer...

Apparently this episode is Jenna Fisher's favorite one of the series so far, so I have high expectations.
