That was literally the best series finale in the history of television. Just a perfect culmination of everything for Larry David.

Yeah it would have been perfect as a series finale, it was still great as a season finale, but I just kept waiting for him to wake up. I'll bet the next season starts with him waking up, or still standing at that bat mitzvah recovering from a daydream.

I loved the ending.

who needs cheryl. no offense. but with these other great characters she was almost holding the show down. although she gave it some nice balance at times and some could argue that its just a crazy string of events now. but i dont find it THAT crazy

This season was so damn sweet, I am going to miss it a lot. Leon absolutely made this season. LD is a genius for properly incorporating the Black family.

I thought Larry had lost a bit on his fastball with the last season they threw out there. The one with the kidney donation overarching storyline. I thought the last episode of that season was really un-funny (with him thinking he was really a gentile...obviously he isn't). Then the whole dying and coming back to life bit was just not funny at all. More lame than anything else. I really questioned if Larry had anything left in the tank when I first heard they were starting season 6.

Maybe Larry started juicing after season 5? (Maybe he added some schwag to his writing process? IDK) All I know is this season is arguably the best ever with Season 3 (opening of the restaurant running storyline).

Another thing is that LD and Jerry Seinfeld both took some heat back in the day for never having any brothers on Seinfeld, aside from the exterminator guy, Carl. If you recall, this was brought up as a running joke during season 1 or 2 (can't remember which one) of CYE. I think it was called Affirmative Action, when Larry insults Richard Lewis's dermatologist. Then that deranged sista confronts Larry in the bathroom of some restaurant for not hiring her to be on Seinfeld. So Larry knew this perception was out there.

Anywho, it was good to see Larry have some brothers in the show as regular characters. I think it made the show even funnier, because as we saw in the past with Krazy Eyez Killa and that black ho (Monisha? can't remember her name), pairing Larry the pasty white eccentric Jew with eccentric brothers is hysterical.
