Ok this is kinda sorta political but also historical and I thought i'd give a heads up to those who are historically inclined like I am. Please don't turn this into a discussion of politics but at least take note of the recommendation.
Anywho, C-Span has done wonderful multi-week programming before and this is shaping up to be another excellent series. It's called Presidential Libraries: History Uncovered and is going to cover the 12 modern era presidents. The series will focus on the men and what shaped them. I'm sure there'll be discussion of their policies and such but the main focus is on the personal side.
C-Span will have 2 hour call-in shows every Friday night at 8 PM. The companion site to the series will also have archival material for each president and it looks like C-Span's sister channel C-Span 3 will offer accompanying history programming on the following saturday for each president as tomorrow there's going to be a 12 hour block on Herbert Hoover.

As a history buff this is truly up my alley and i'll be particularly interested in the programming up to and including Reagan. It'll be interesting how callers and the curators of the first Bush and Clinton Libaries will talk about their subjects later on.
