So I have two classes the brand new building @ my community college this semester. You would think a NEW BUILDING would have wireless internet throughout, right? NOPE!
The only wireless internet on campus is in the library, and even that is shaky because programs like AIM load, but websites have quite the trouble loading. What I'm asking you guys is this; Is there a way (via adapter, or something) to extend the range that my laptop picks up wireless signals? Something to extend me to the library signal (which is not too far away from my classrooms) perhaps?
I have three sessions in this building per week, and have to take my computer for notes for all of them. To not have internet capability is frustrating. And the funny thing is, they even have ethernet ports in the walls so I connected my ethernet cord and nothing worked!
Wireless would be great, especially considering one of the classes is a night class for three hours, and it would come in handy for watching playoff baseball games....
