Didn't this movie come out last year? why am I seeing the dvd release commercial now for 9/18?

It came out at the very end of last year, so yes it's a long delay. But they probably wanted to capitalize on football season's start, much like how Christmas movies almost always wait a year for their DVD releases.

Just watched it on HD-DVD, amazing movie. One of the better sports movies I've seen in awhile.

This was an excellent movie and if I were a Marshall alum, I'd be proud of the representation/symbolism of this movie. Just an excellent job all the way around. For guys who don't want guys to see you cry....don't watch this with guys.

I think he is saying that the reviewer thought the movie was about a high school football team not a college

Yeah, it made me lower my expectations for the rest of the year with that paper. The first thing I read, they get wrong. lol.

Just a Marshall Alum chiming in. I was happy with the movie. I have a couple of friends who were extras. Its just weird seeing your campus and stuff in a movie. But I guess people in LA and NYC are used to it. Nice to see we're off to an 0-5 start

Also this is not a spoiler, but when Kate Mara is narrating at the end of the film and talking about where the people in the movie are now..... Nate Ruffin gets the eyes welled up every time. Ive seen the movie like 6 times now.

I finally got to see the movie...

Just....words can't even describe it to me. Amazing movie. Probably just replaced Remember the Titans as my favorite sports movie.

We Are Marshall is simply amazing. One of my fav sports movies, very emotional.
