Definitely going to pick this up. I found it funny that in the Circuit City ad, it said "Into the Wild - Eddie Vedder (of Pearl Jam)". I would think most people who would buy this type of album would know who Eddie Vedder is.

Glad to see some fellow Pearl Jam/Eddie Vedder fans in here. I have the soundtrack and I like it a lot. Nothing is on there that would scream Pearl Jam except for Eddie. I really want to see the movie as well. It appears to be the kind of movie that makes you think differently afterwards, if even for a short period of time.

On a side note, for anyone that doesn't know, Pearl Jam have a new DVD coming out next week. Looks to be a very solid dvd and you can view some clips of it at www.pearljam.com.

I picked this up yesterday. It is pretty good, it defintely isn't a Pearl Jam album, so nobody should be expecting that. I don't know much about the movie, but the songs definitely tell a story from start to finish. It has a nice, laid back feel to it, seems like it will make a good relaxation album.
