Yes, Reservoir Dogs is "nothing to write home about". I said it. If there is a film comparable to that film it's "The Ususal Suspects". And I liked the "Ususal Suspects" better.

And Jackie Brown, to me, is overrated.

It's ok you don't like it, i'm sure you watch a show that's not great in many peoples opinion. And by what Tarantino has done in tv, those type of plots of have been done to death even more: CSI (put city name here), and a doctor show.
Good post. I really like the show. In most superhero shows or movies the characters don't spend much time getting to know their powers or what they should do with them.
In Season 1 all of the 'heroes' were still figuring this out. This included what side they were on.

I loved it and I can't wait for this Monday's season opener!

I'm of the same opinion too.
In college one of my roommates would go on and on about how awesome Reservoir Dogs was. When I watched it I said "That's it?". I wasn't all that impressed.

I did like Pulp Fiction and the Kill Bill's though.

I believe this will continue into season 2 as well. At least I hope it does...the uncertainty of each individual makes the show so great.

I'm in the group that is extremely happy Tarantino isn't touching an episode.

Tarantino is like a snake-oil salesman. He's conned everyone into thinking his films are great. Maybe they are good but he is overrated.

Most of his movies have like cult like status where they become untouchable and are often turned into to the greatest cinematic experiences ever.

He is probably pissed because people are talking about Heros and not his movies.

                  Never have watched Heroes.
Pulp Fiction, Reservoir Dogs, and Jackie Brown rule. (In that order)
                  Never got the Kill Bill's.

"Not wonderment," he said when asked if he was surprising even himself with his hot hand in Virginia's 108-87 victory against Gonzaga on Wednesday night, when he scored a career-best 37 points. "I was just wondering why they didn't play more `D.

I'm still waiting for a better official kill bill dvd set, but it seems like I'll have to make due with my bootleg off of ebay.

I applaud him for not not even watching that overrated mainstream piece of ****.I'll never will understand why that show is so popular, the basis of the show is so generic lets give a group of people super powers so they can save the world wow i never heard of such a plot before *cough*x-men,i guess with alot of hype and advertisement you can make even the ****test of shows seem appealing.

                      priceless
Sorry, my inner nerd won't let me keep quiet. X-Men isn't a group of superpowered people who get together to save the world. They're more a civil rights group whose members happen to have super powers. Saving the world just kind of gets in the way of that from time to time.

I'm kind of glad he turned it down. I don't think I could take an entire episode of the show that was just one scene.
                      PS: You guys are great.

I think it could've been interesting if he did one of the Heroes Origins in the 5 week or so hiatus of the main show, but I'm not disappointed in any way that he turned it down either.
