Yeah, wasn't she in King Kong?

The movie was good, but the ending sort of caught me by surprise. I'm not complaining, it just ended on a slower note than I thought it would.
Right off the bat you got King Kong. Perfect example. She was also in 21 Grams and she quickly fell in love with a character that she shouldn't have fallen in love with at all. Then you've got a man that is nearly threatening throughout this entire film and they lock lips.

But I liked her in The Ring. Haven't seen Ring Two...maybe sometime in the near future. She's going to be in Angels and Demons, the prequel to The DaVinci Code. Considering how those type of stories go, she'll probably fall in love with Robert Langdon - what a crazy fellow he is.

Can someone get this girl a serious Drama movie and a real love scene? Though, I did read that she once said she isn't the go-to-girl for romantic comedies. She's the one for quirkier roles. So true, Naomi. So true.

She's rumored to be in the Hitchcock "Bird" remake. Check on quirky. She's playing alongside Nicole Kidman in "Need" in which she's a psychiatrist for a suicidal woman that's having an affair. How much you want to bet that Watts locks lips with the wrong guy? Check on that. Oh and she's filming a movie with Clive Owen who happens to be an Interpol agent.

    Ok sorry.

I'm a bit surprised it's being tagged a thriller. I didn't ever feel like sitting on the edge of my seat. It was very slow paced and methodical. But that's not a bad thing. I think the movie was very well written, probably one of the best written movies along with Mr. Brooks in 2007 (yea, that's right, I said it. Mr. Damn Brooks was well-written).

I go back and when I think of this movie I'm compelled to watch it again. I just enjoyed seeing everything unravel. Felt like a very good book that you can go back to anytime.

Of course, it goes without question that Naomi Watts once again falls in love with a guy that doesn't fit her character. She's got a knack for playing those girls. But I liked her performance. I heard nothing about this movie and only picked it up because she was in it. Very satisfied with the viewing.
Two films I haven't seen yet but want to.

Watch "The Painted Veil" where she stars with Edward Norton. It's certainly not a romantic comedy, but it's a real love story....and it's good, of course.

I'm surprised so many people liked this movie. I thought it was horrible minus the bathroom scene. Acting was good, but the story was just uninteresting, unbelievable, and there was no payoff. It wasn't a movie that really made me think about anything other than the fact that it was depraved sex and violence that was shown in realistic fashion.

I will give credit to Viggo Mortensen for his performance, but that's the only positive I can find.

It's not the best movie, but it's still my favorite movie of the year. It's certainly not a deep movie. I automatically love any gritty crime dramas with interesting leads (Viggo & Cassel).

Yeah I agree. It seemed very anti-climactic when that was revealed, like whether or not it happened, the movie would have been the same I felt.

But in all honesty, what I love about movies is that different people interpret them differently.
