I still watch...i've got half an hour to kill after HIMYM and it's a kinda funny show...I still miss "The Class" like you do, but this is slowly starting to get better. Not quite as obvious as the first couple episodes were, I think they may be learning that they can do geeky humor and be a bit more subtle with it.

mjb brought it back up this time, don't blame me! We're just comparing this show to the one in the same relative timeslot (paired with HIMYM), so it's somewhat on topic

I really want to know what was going to happen. It's not like it was a comedy that just ended, no biggie. They had a massive cliffhanger.

Oh I know, i'm just messing with you.

Did they cut the show short or did the season end with a cliffhanger?

It got a full season, just that the relationships were all up in the air. Nicole was going to tell Yonk that she was leaving him, but he had a heart attack before she could. We don't know if he was going to live, etc. I think Richie and Lena were on the outs, but don't remember. Kat and Ethan had that vibe, so could have had things happen.

Sounds like a soap opera, but it was pretty funny how they did things.

It happens, I'm used to it, if I like a somewhat quirky show it's gonna get canceled.

Big Bang Theory doesn't seem to have as many storylines that really make me care about the characters, but I'm giving it more time (it takes shows half a season or so to hit any stride IMO). It's a funny show, I just like when a show makes me care, you know?

I still like Big Bang, it has me laughing each week, what else could you ask for (besides The Class as well).

Heh.... This show will always be compared to The Class. mgo, aukevin, Clay, myself and some others watched that show religiously. It's really too bad that it got canceled.

It seems like every network has great shows, including CW, but I think that there are so many shows in primetime in one week that it is hard to keep up with the seasons. I wish I did have TiVo, but I don't know how y'all deal with having a favorite show(s) that are intriguing. Do y'all pick a certain night to watch it or what?

Yea I have Comcast with the HD/DVR recorder, and I just watch them when I have a chance. I mean you can watch an episode in about 45 min because you skip commercials. But House and Prison Break I usually watch the same night. Also when I come home from the gym I always do an extra 200 crunches which gives me time to watch a 30 min show ( Big Bang Theory ). Halftime of the Monday Night Football game I usually squeeze in a show.

I usually only watch Deal or No Deal on Monday and Friday and MNF on ESPN, so I haven't realled delved deep into CBS's Monday Night lineup yet. ALso, I do have DirecTV, so maybe I can autotune when one of the shows comes on so it just changes itself to that show. Is it really that good?

Sheldon is the only reason I keep watching this show.

                            He's hilarious.

Having a DVR really helps spread out the shows. For example, Heroes and Journeyman are Tuesday night shows for me. There's no way I could watch as many shows that I do if it wasn't for a DVR.

This question might sound stupid, but what's the difference between a DVR and TiVo?
