NBC's "Deal or No Deal," 7.8/13, won the 8 p.m. hour over ABC's "Pushing Daisies," 6.6/11, which held fairly steady from its performance last week. "Kid Nation" put CBS in third with a 4.7/8, beating out "Back to You" and "'Til Death" on FOX. "America's Next Top Model" scored a 3.3/5 for The CW.Member of The OS Baseball Rocket Scientists Association -

Well, one thing is for sure, the best new show is still killing in the key demos.Comment

That's great it's killing in key demos. It's a quirky, kinda odd show that I enjoy, usually a instant mark of death for a show. I hope this can stay around!Nintendo Switch Friend Code: SW-7009-7102-8818Comment

Re: The Best New Show: Pushing Daisies (ABC)
You read it here first: This fall's most inventive and entertaining new show — aka Pushing Daisies — has just been picked up for a full season. Multiple sources confirm that ABC has ordered nine additional episodes, for a grand total of 22.
Between Viva Laughlin's cancellation and Daisies' extension, this is shaping up to be a great week in TV. Am I right or am I right?!Comment

This show is great. It'll be really disapointing if that strike goes on, but it won't be that bad since this show has gone only a few episodes.
What really surprises me is how CSI still remains number 1 and no one talks about it here. They must have the baby boomer generation on lock or something.Comment

I think it will be worse if Pushing Daisies gets cut short because of a strike. Shows that have had many years to develop a loyal following will be o.k. on the other side, but a new show may just slip from the minds of viewers very quickly.
Shows that are different and take a risk need to have a chance to rise to the top, so that executives and producers will be more open to these kinds of projects in the future.Jordan Mychal Lemos

Re: The Best New Show: Pushing Daisies (ABC)
And another solid episode.
I wonder if the aunts not knowing about Chuck being alive is something that will play out for the entire run of the series or if they will find out soon.
Also a new dynamic with the girl knowing kinda knowing about Chuck. THough she thinks Chuck faked her death. I think she's going to find out the piemaker's secret before the end of the first season."It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. I liked that Olive was finally apart of one of the mysteries. Her shortness was explained by her former profession: horse jockey.
Once I met the mother, I knew it was her, but this show isn't supposed to be a "see if you can figure it out before the characters" show. If it was, than it would be the easiest show ever to figure out.
Emerson is hilarious. He makes me laugh a lot each episode with his sarcasm. Every character is great, though. There are no weak links.
All-in-all another superb episode. I hope this show can keep it up.Comment

I'm surprised no one has commented on last night's episode yet. I thought it was great as usual.
Emerson is hilarious. I loved his comments about taking the blind kids' money and the way he got trained like a dog.
Ned being Mr. Digby and Digby being Ned was funny as well.Comment

Sucks that if this strike goes on there is only 3 more episodes that have been filmed according to Entertainment Weekly. I like this show a lot and having McBride in this doesn't hurt it either.President of the Devils Den
