This is very cool, we get 7 new songs and I hear that Best Buy is offering 2 additional songs if you purchase this from them. Finally we get some new Matchbox tunes............I can't wait for this thread to get sidetracked with people complaining that all their music sounds the same.

They are really good live. I've seen them twice.

Wish we were getting more new tracks, but it'll be cool to hear them again anyway.
The line must be drawn HERE! This far, no further!

I watched one of their concerts on HDNet, it was pretty good.

Really enjoying the album so far. Out of the new tracks, How Far We've Come is the worst one.

I'm still undecided on what my favorite Matchbox Twenty song is. It's a toss up between Push or Unwell.

I still need to check out Rob Thomas's solo album. I only bought the single Ever The Same from iTunes.

Matchbox 20 is my favorite band ever and I listen to their music all the time. I have heard all of their new songs and have been a little underwhelmed. I am still not understanding why they didn't just put out an entire new album. I'm sure I will buy the CD next week and it will grow on me.

Before we get that post, their songs do not sound the same other than the fact that it's the same band playing them.

I have seen him twice at Jones Beach, once with the band and once with Jewel. I have always enjoyed his music. Looking foward to picking this up!

              Asian,

His solo CD is kind of more pop orientated.

"This is how a Heartbreaks" "Lonely No More" "Something To Be"
              and "Now Comes The Night"
These Are the songs that I personally liked off his solo CD.

Then you had that one song "Streetcorner Symphony" that was being used duringTelevision promotion for Grey's Anatomy, Ugly Betty, and Six Degrees on ABC last year.

6 new songs is pretty nice for a Greatest Hits compilation. Then adding in 2 more songs when you buy at Best Buy... at 8 songs that's technically an LP.
