    Hurt - Vol. II

Ok.... I held off on making this thread, but this band needs to be friggin heard! These guys are absolutely amazing and get no label support, so they are on their last legs. Their sophmore album, Vol. II, just dropped this past Tuesday.

These guys mix ambiance with dissonance and harmonious melody like no other band around. Nice mellow and just beautiful sound-scapes crashed with hard hitting lines and melodies. Whether you like rock, adult contemporary, alternative, progressive, or acoustic... You will likely like these guys.

Best part is that you guys have nothing to lose to listen to them.

They are letting people stream the entire album and listen before buying. I just ask that you give them a fair listen, and listen to more than one song because they are all so different.

Lyrically, the only other band I can compare them to is Tool. Very emotionally complex lyrics all through the music.

This may be the best album I have heard in a long long time, not just rock... but all music.

I will leave you with a couple acoustic performances of a couple of their debut album's(Vol. I) songs.

    Re: Hurt - Vol. II

I had a feeling you'd make this threat eX, haha. But I do have to back you up on this. Hurt is a great band in all aspects, and J Loren has an amazing voice. No doubt that they deserve much more publicity than they have gotten already.
