Then Im really lost because I was under the impression that she was dead. So, where is she in the present time then? Do they only show her when she goes back, otherwise they leave her story completely out of the show?

EDIT- Okay, I checked the website and apparently she is just his long lost fiancee, they really should have explained that better, when there are scenes showing Livia and Dan together and at the same time showing Katie and Dan's brother Jack together it really conused me considering next thing I know Dan is married to Katie while his brother Jack is still helping him, which is strange within itself, while Livia vanishes and only appears when Dan goes back in time. Maybe its just me but they needed to do a much better job of explaining things.

I see how it can be confusing, but i've been following it ok.

Basically the ex-fiance got on a plane that crashed. Everyone thought she died, but something else happened where she travels in time like the guy does. She is not in present time, we don't know everything about her situation (part of the story they're telling).

When Dan goes back in the past, it's when he was dating Livia and his brother was dating Katie. I think they'll explain more over time, but it's just too much to get into with only 2 episodes so far. If they'd gone over everything in those 2 episodes then they'd have been boring exposition.

Then I have to say this show really intrigues me now.

I initially thought it was going to only be about a man travelling back in time and helping people along the way.

There seems to be a lot more going on and I like the Moon Bloodgood is getting another chance to relive time over and over again (though she wasn't actually aware of it the first time).

          Another good episode.

I don't know how I feel about the wife being so accepting of all this. Seems like people are a bit too accepting of this guy just disappearing so constantly.

Not a show killer at all. Just seems like it's too perfect and set up in that way to allow story progression.

I wonder if Dan and his ex-fiance are going to try to figure out why this happens to them. And doesn't it seem a bit odd that Dan is always doing the saving while his ex-fiance kinda just watches and gives him comments like, "Are you sure that's what you're supposed to do?"

Does she all of a sudden think she can take a vacation because he's now the journeyman? Or maybe that's the point. Maybe he was selected by her, and she's now training him so she can be relieved of her duties. Too much thought.

          I should just watch.

We will just watch, but the fact it's making us wonder is what's great. I don't think his wife is as accepting about things now. I think that she believes Livia is alive, and that Dan is lying to her about traveling through time.

I just hope it continues to be interesting and doesn't get cancelled

What do you mean lying to her?

She's seen him leave before. Do you mean that she thinks he's traveling to her?

Well she obvisouly knows that he can time travel but is upset that he lied to her when he says that he hasn't seen anyone he knows. Not only was he lying about that its his ex fiance who was thought to be dead, i'm sure any wife would be upset and jealous over that.

I understand her frustration, she seems to be a person who wants some control or a purpose but is unable to do so with her husband doing something important. You can tell especially when she took the initiative to get that interview done for her husband.

Yeah, i don't know but we can tell she's frustrated and might not completely trust him. Just pretty deep relationships between everyone on the show.

I really enjoyed this week's episode. I like how he doesn't just go back in time without repercussions. His boss, wife, brother all think he's going crazy or something. Then you never know if anything's going to happen with him and the love of his life. Add in the pretty cool time travel plot for the ep and it's pretty fun. Not sure how it's doing ratings wise though, and with Heroes as a lead in I bet they expect a ton.

                      Re: Journeyman

Journeyman now gets my full attention. I bump the volume up and listen attentively.

This week's episode was perhaps my favorite so far. I really love this struggle he has with balancing his life and still fulfilling his duty. It's also frustrating as a viewer because I keep getting this feeling that his wife is slowly giving up on him while big brother plans a sneak attack.

Next week's episode looks like another good one. He travels while walking with his son, leaving him alone. Now that's gotta be a nightmare for the both of them.

                        Ratings:

Journeyman is pretty much putting up Prison Break numbers. 4.5/7 last week. That's not bad. It's not great like CSI: Miami (9.5/15) but it's stable enough to keep it going strong.

Just checked and Journeyman scored the same rating yesterday despite CSI: Miami jumping up to 10.4/17. All good signs I say.

Also, since you mentioned it, Heroes has taken a huge hit. It's been averaging a 9.0 but in the last two weeks it's attracted just below a 7.0 in ratings. Pretty tough hit for the show and it's probably affecting Journeyman. I'm guessing people are switching over from Two and A Half Men or switching to Rules of Engagement.

Journeyman going down. 3.8/6 this past Monday.

I'm worried that this show will be canceled. I really like it. Though I guess I wouldn't exactly miss it.

I've been enjoying the show a lot. There this mystery of the people that really know what's going on like the guy he just saved and that doctor who contacted him in the past. I haven't put too much on this show though knowing this strike is probably going to wipe it out as well as Pushing Daisies.

                              That sucks about the ratings.

I hope that they keep it on and give it a chance to gain an audience.

No matter what, shows are still going head to head with Monday Night Football even if it is on ESPN.

                              Great Show.
I hope it stays on the Air.
